Job Duties:
- Receiving and Storing Inventory: Keep track of stock and organize items for easy access.
- Preparing and Packing Orders: Ensure customer orders are packed securely for delivery.
- Loading Boxes: Place packed orders onto delivery vehicles efficiently.
- Scanning Product Barcodes: Use scanners to track items and ensure accuracy.
- Following Screen Prompts: Complete specific tasks as directed by on-screen instructions.
- Troubleshooting Issues: Identify and resolve operational problems as they arise.
- Checking Product Quality: Ensure all products meet Amazon’s high-quality standards.
- Operating Heavy Machinery: Safely operate equipment like forklifts or pallet drivers, sometimes at heights of up to 35 feet (training and certification are provided at no cost).
Physical Requirements:
- Lifting: Ability to lift up to 49 pounds.
- Pushing Utility Carts: Capability to push carts weighing up to 60 pounds.
- Physical Activity: Stay active throughout your shift with standing, walking, pushing, pulling, squatting, bending, and reaching.
- Using Equipment: Competence in handling carts, dollies, hand trucks, and other moving equipment.
- Climbing Stairs: Ability to climb stairs if required.
- Working at Heights: Comfort with working at heights up to 40 feet, if necessary.
- Safety Compliance: Adherence to safety, quality, and production standards is mandatory.
